• Blessed

Today, if you accept the fact that Jesus died as propitiation for your sins (1John 4:10 and 1John 2:2), repent and submit to becoming a new creation in Christ (Colossians 3:8-17), you can confidently walk upright knowing that you are indeed blessed by the grace of God and not by works but by His grace (Ephesians 2:1-10). Be blessed and walk in this peace today.

What does it mean to be “blessed?” We hear it often and in history God blessed many.

The notable difference between the blessing in Genesis 1:22 to the blessing of man in Genesis 1:28 is that in addition to God commanding a blessing to be fruitful, to multiply and fill the earth, God blessed man to subdue the earth and to have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air and every living thing that moves on the earth. God continues in Genesis 1:29 and 30 to tell man that He has given man every living herb that yields seed, every tree whose fruit yields seed, and every beast of the earth and bird of the air for food.

So, in the very beginning, God “blessed” man with everything needed for food and to have dominion of the earth.
  • Love One Another

Jesus said in John 13: 34-35: “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Prophesy was fulfilled through the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus and Jesus clearly gave the commandment that God wants us to follow. Following this one commandment is hard yet it is the most Christ-like action we need to take. Jesus even gave us clear instruction on how to love one another in Matthew 25: 31-46.

I believe Jesus was telling us to treat every human being we meet with dignity and respect. When we give food to the hungry, drink to the thirsty, shelter to people (even strangers), give clothing to the naked, and visit the sick and imprisoned, we are taking care of Him. We are taking care of His body.

I choose to love as God called me to love. I hope you do too. I don't want to be legalistic and miss the call of God to love one another.

Jesus forgave many while on Earth, even those religious leaders thought should be condemned. Remember, we were once sinners and were still saved by the grace and it was a gift from God (Ephesians 2:8).
  • Peacemaker: Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the sons of God

God is love. I believe that what we have in our current global system is far from love. When man (through Adam) was deceived and dominion was taken from man and given to Satan, things went far south. God wants us in His image and Satan wants desperately to show God that mankind is incapable of being in God’s image. He is a Liar and will continually do what liars do best, lie.

Jesus, the Christ, was sent as a Savior to once again give us everlasting life and not only in Heaven but here on earth as well. He says in His Word that Jesus was sent not to condemn the world but that through Jesus, the world might be saved through Him.

Once you accept and believe that Jesus is the Christ, God’s only begotten Son, sent by God to save the world, the Spirit of God can begin to dwell within you giving you wisdom, knowledge and understanding of Who He is and how He created you to be in His image.

God wants you to come back and be a son (male or female) to Him. He wants you to be a peacemaker.
  • Love

Get to know God and you will know love.

Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you. Abide in the Word.

Test spirits of people, especially those who give themselves titles of apostle, prophet, evangelist, etc and see if their spirit is of truth or one of error.

    Do they preach Christ?

Do they preach that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh and is of God?

Know that if you confess that Jesus Christ came in the flesh and is the propitiation for our sins because God loved us that much, you will know that you overcome the spirits of the world.

The Spirit of God that is in you is greater than any spirit that is in the world and we live through the Spirit of God.

“And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.”
  • By Grace You Have Been Saved Through Faith

You Are A Workmanship Of God Created In Christ Jesus For Good Works

We, who were once operating simply in the flesh, can be assured that God knows us and still chose us to be a part of Him.

We should not be boasting of the good things we have done, or the laws that we keep. Likewise, we also should not be pointing the finger at anyone we think is not following the 10 Commandments or following any laws of the Lord.

To condemn the work of others or to say anyone, including ourselves, are unworthy of God would be saying that God made a mistake with His creation. There are demonic forces at work to keep us from meeting God’s intended potential.
  • Resurrection Sunday Means EVERYTHING

Why does it give me hope? Hope, because Jesus previously indicated that He had more to say but did not yet say these things because the disciples were not ready to bear them and He promised them that the Spirit of truth would guide them into ALL truth. (John 16: 12-13) And, in Acts 2, we discover that those of us who decide to repent and are baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. So we too, receive the same promise that Jesus gave to those who walked with Him while He was here on Earth.

So why is this a day that means everything to a Christian?

Jesus said (in Luke 21:36) to “watch therefore, and pray always that we may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” Without the sacrifice of Jesus, there would be no hope but because Jesus obeyed and became a sacrifice for those of us who believe in the Word of God and are lead by the Spirit of truth (Who was sent to us by Jesus after His death and resurrection), we should have hope and rejoice that Jesus is our Advocate.
